HAVE CONVERSATIONS
Not as easy as it sounds...
This may not be "low effort" depending on the family you come from, but if you are a white person and you're not talking about racial justice, you're doing it wrong. Race Forward has a great article about how to start one of these hard conversations.
SIGN PETITIONS
You can sign petitions to make it known what kind of changes you would like to see in the world.
VOTE
Like your life depends on it...
This is the most important action you can take with the least amount of effort (unless you live in a predominantly Black county in the South, then it is a considerable amount of effort). Candidates and propositions change, so you'll need to do a little research each election. Please don't waste your vote and voice... it really does matter.
AMPLIFY BLACK VOICES
No chain letters allowed
Use your social media space to move society forward, not backward. Retweet #blacklivesmatter with intention. Repost Black voices about racial justice. Call out the racist things you see. Bring your thoughts out, into the uncomfortable space of the public spotlight, because that is where transformative discourse can happen.
